Competition Overview

The team at Few is passionate about building digital products to enhance the human experience. We work collaboratively with our clients to make sure that their vision is expressed through the websites, apps, and marketing strategies we create together. This competition is going to give Few a chance to see what your mobile apps are made of. The most successful entries will have an easy to use and beautiful front end design, and a well crafted database component. We look forward to reviewing the iOS and Android apps you have created as part of your EAST project(s) this year.

Judging Criteria

Here are some things you might want to consider when creating your app:

  • Content: Is the content clear, concise, and relevant?
  • Structure and Navigation: The information must be well organized with effective links and good presentation. The application should be structured well, navigable and easily browsed from page to page.
  • Visual Design: Graphics and images must be engaging and of good quality with high resolution. No fuzzy or big unedited (un-scaled) images etc.
  • Functionality: How quickly does the app load? Does it accomplish what it set out to do?
  • Overall Experience: How is it organized in terms of content, structure and navigation, and visual design? How functional is it? The overall experience of a site visitor to a website is important.
  • Terms and Conditions: It is assumed that the entire content of the submitted app is original and the entrants to the competition have the rights, and where applicable, the permission, to use the tools and content they used in putting the site together. The organizer of this competition is not liable for any copyright infringements on the part of the entrant/s.

Submission Instructions

The submission deadline is 3 p.m., CST, January 24, 2018.
