2016 Conference Logo
The 2016 EAST Conference dates, location and theme were announced at last year’s Closing Session. This announcement also marked the beginning of the 2016 EAST Conference Logo Competition. Out of nearly 100 submissions, a winner was selected and the design will be featured on all printed and digital 2016 EAST Conference items.
- Kerry Morris and Stephen Siladji from Conwell Egan Catholic High School used elements from previous conference logos to celebrate this year's theme marking twenty years of EAST.
Congratulations on an outstanding and creative design!

National Service Project
Each year EAST programs across the country join together to address a specific issue or theme, creating a powerful synergy and producing impressive results. In the past, this focus was to create a sustained effort along one theme such as health and wellness or emergency preparedness.
This year, the National Service Project is much broader and encourages our schools to go out and connect with their communities. EAST programs are encouraged to build partnerships within their communities that serve the benefit all of the partners and the community at large.
The National Service Project culminates with a celebration and display at the annual EAST Conference, revealing a myriad of solutions and approaches to the problems - and often some surprising innovations.
The EAST National Service Project for 2015-2016 is Connected Communities.
